The Denison Homestead Offers Volunteer Opportunities at Pequot Sepos Manor
We always have need for more volunteers and for people interested in helping us, you couldn't ask for a better location. This is an excellent way to complete community service requirements, especially for Boyscouts and Girlscouts, and many of these are summertime positions perfect for the historically-minded student. Here are just a few areas where we can use your help:
- Head Archivist or Archives helpers
- Denison Pequot Nature Center Board Representative
- Grant Researchers and Grant Writers
- Curator and helpers to set up museum etc.
- Volunteer coordinator and volunteers
- Newsletter coordinator and newsletter writers
- Publicity Coordinator
- Education Coordinator and Education helpers
- Docents (paid positions)
- Person to do odd jobs- pay by the hour
